In a shocking incident, the residents of Pahadi Shareef area found a woman’s dead body disposed of in a gunny bag.
The incident occurred on the night of the 11th of April, and was reported on the morning of the 12th of April, Wednesday. The locals who discovered the decomposed body and immediately informed the police. Furthermore, a few locals gave their statement and said they recovered body near Hardware Park at Tukkuguda region.
After an initial investigation, the police suspected that the woman was strangled using a towel and was killed. Later the suspects disposed of the body at an isolated place in Hyderabad’s outskirt region.
Meanwhile, Additional Commissioner of Police (ACP) of Maheshwaram Ms. C. Anjaiah said that the woman might have been killed three days ago. She further added, the body is highly decomposed and a special team have been formed to identify the woman and trackdown the killers.
A case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
