Another incident of cyber harassment was reported in Hyderabad, Telangana, on the 17th of March, Thursday.
On Thursday, the Cybercrime Branch of the Rachakonda Police arrested a youth, who was identified as D. Sai Krishna, a 21-year-old, resident of Bhupabpally. The accused, who is an undergraduate student, allegedly recorded a video of the victim, while she was bathing. With the alleged video, he blackmailed the girl, asking for sexual favors. The victim, who was said to be his distant relative, registered a complaint with the police, following which the police arrested Krishna.
D Sai Krishna was arrested at his residence. He was later produced before a local court.
The accused is currently under police custody and further legal procedure is underway.
