Telugu film fraternity and fans started getting worried after Superstar Krishna on Sunday was rushed to a hospital by his family members. In a film career spanning five decades, Superstar Krishna starred in more than 350 films in a variety of roles. He is referred to as a ‘Superstar’ in the media. After Superstar Krishna hospitalization report broke out, fans took to their social media and wished him a speedy recovery. Furthermore, fans were eager to know what actually happened to the 79-years-old actor or let’s say Superstar Krishna’s health update.
Talking about Superstar Krishna’s health update, the veteran actor is said to be suffering from respiratory problems for quite some time and was taken to the Continental Hospital in Gachibowli. Actor Naresh who is taking care of the actor stated that there was no cause for worry and that it was a routine check-up. Furthermore, he is slated to be discharged from the hospital either in the evening or tomorrow morning once his condition stabilizes. Superstar Krishna has been staying in Nanakramguda which is close to the hospital. The Ghattamaneni family has been in a state of grief this year with two tragedies. In January this year, his elder son Ramesh Babu died. in September Krishna’s wife, Mahesh Babu’s mother Indira Devi also passed away due to illness.
Highlighting about Tollywood Superstar Krishna was awarded with the Padma Bhushan in 2009 by the Government of India. He was elected as a Member of Parliament for the Congress party in 1989. In 1997, he received the Filmfare Lifetime Achievement Award – South in addition to an Honorary doctorate from Andhra University in 2008. Talking about his personal life, Krishna was married to Indira, and later to Vijaya Nirmala. Krishna met Vijaya Nirmala on the sets of Sakshi (1967). He has five children with Indira; two sons—Ramesh Babu and Mahesh Babu, and three daughters—Padmavathi, Manjula, and Priyadarshini.
