Mr. Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy, the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) candidate for the Munugode by-election, has submitted his nomination papers to the Election Returning Officer.
On the 13th of October, Thursday, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy submitted his papers in the Munugode constituency, after a rally. The TRS Member of the Legislative Council (MLCs) Karne Prabhakar, Member of Parliament (MP) Badugula Lingaya Yadav and many other party leaders participated in this program.
Notably, Koosukuntla Prabhakar Reddy spoke to the media after filing the nomination papers. He said that he is definitely a local candidate whereas the Indian National Congress (INC) and the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) candidates are non local.
Furthermore, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy said that the Munugode by election became inevitable after the resignation of the Congress MLA Mr. Rajagopal Reddy, who joined the BJP and now contesting from the BJP ticket.
In addition, Mr. Prabhakar Reddy also expressed confidence in winning the Munugode by election, scheduled to be held on the 3rd of November.
Furthermore, the counting of the votes would be held on the 6th of November, following which results would be announced.
Moreover, political parties like the TRS, now known as the Bharat Rashtra Samithi, the Indian National Congress and the BJP are leaving no stone unturned to strengthen the party and win the Munugode Assembly by election.
