On the 25th of March, a tragic incident took place with the newly elected Member of the Legislative Council (MLC) of Mahbubnagar-Rangareddy-Hyderabad.
According to the sources, Vani Devi, Graduate MLC and a member of the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) escaped from an accident, which occurred at Gate no. 8 of the Assembly complex’s parking area.
The accident took place on the morning of the 25th of March, after Bhanu Prakash, the personal security officer (PSO) of Vani Devi dropped her at the Assembly.
As per media sources, Bhanu Prakash was parking the car when he rammed it, leading to an accident.
The police immediately rushed to help the security person, after they heard a loud noise. The front end of the car is completely damaged in the accident.
Later, a senior police official confirmed the incident and said, “Along with the driver, the MLC went into the legislative building when the Personal Security Officer (PSO) Bhanu Prakash tried to take the vehicle to the parking lot. However he lost control and crashed into the gate.”
Holding Bhanu Prakash responsible, the Commissioner of Police of Hyderabad, Anjani Kumar suspended him. Anjani Kumar said, Bhanu Prakash, the PSO was unauthorized to drive the protected person’s car.
