The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) party is adamant about its decision not to extend the deadline for Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TSRTC) employees.

On the 4th of November, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, conducted a review meeting and showed no mercy on the TSRTC employees.  He said the State Government decided not to change the deadline for the employees to rejoin duty as well as for the privatisation of routes.

According to the TRS Government, the Telangana High Court (HC) is going to give a verdict in favour of the State Government, not the TSRTC employees.

KCR said the State Government gave an opportunity to the TSRTC employees to save their jobs by rejoining duty before the 5th of November at midnight.

He also blamed the union leaders and the Joint Action Committee (JAC) leaders for influencing the TSRTC workers and stated they would be the reason the employees lose their jobs.

KCR said if the case is not resolved in the Telangana HC and goes to the Supreme Court, it would be a never ending battle and would not be good for both TRS Government and the employees.

The TSRTC workers are on an indefinite strike since the 5th of October, which entered its 32nd day on the 5th of November.

Stay tuned for further updates.
