Weather Official Issues Heatwave Warning In Six Telangana Districts

The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) issued a heatwave warning in Telangana’s six districts.  

On the 2nd of April, the IMD renewed the warning of heat wave conditions on the 3rd of April in Bhadradri Kothagudem, Khammam, Suryapet, Nalgonda, Mahbubnagar and Nagarkurnool districts. In a daily bulletin of weather update, the Weather Department said this year regions of Telangana would likely witness a heatwave and rise in temperature.

On the 2nd of April, Telangana’s district registered more than 38 ° Celsius. In Nalgonda temperature was 42° Celsius, Mahbubnagar 41.6° Celsius, Khammam 41° Celsius, Ramagundam and Adilabad 40.8° Celsius, Nizamabad 40.7° Celsius, Medak 40.6° Celsius, Hyderabad 39.1° Celsius, Dundigal 38.4° Celsius, Hakimpet 38.2° Celsius and Hanamkonda 38° Celsius.

In Hyderabad the highest day temperature of 39° C is forecast from the 3rd of April to the 5th of April. In addition, as per forecast, it is likely to go up to 40° Celsius from the 6th of April to the 8th of April
