K.N. Anburajan, an Indian Public Service (IPS) officer, on the 11th of October, took over as the new Superintendent of Police (SP) of Kadapa district in Andhra Pradesh.
The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) appointed Anburajan in place of Abhishek Mohanty, the former SP of Kadapa district.
Addressing the media, Anburajan said he would take over and look into the old pending cases in the area and would try to solve them. He also added he would be strict and fair in any case and would take steps according to the law.
Anburajan said, “In the Command Control Room, we are trying to prevent crime by using more advanced technology.” He further added, “Full scale review of the Vivekananda Reddy murder case will be conducted, and details will be revealed soon.”
The SP will now take over all the matters of the region, including the Vivekananda Reddy murder case.
