Manohar Lal Khattar, the former Chief Minister of Haryana, on the 27th of October, took oath as the Chief Minister of Haryana for a second term.
Manohar Lal Khattar, a member of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP,) was administered the oath of office by Satyadev Narayan Arya, the Governor of Haryana.
While Manohar Lal Khattar is the new Chief Minister of Haryana, Dushyant Chautala, the President of the Jannayak Janata Party (JJP,) took the oath of office as the Deputy Chief Minister.
On the 26th of October, Manohar Lal Khattar met Satyadev Narayan and sought permission to form his Government in the State.
The alliance of the JJP and the BJP in Haryana secured 50 seats. Haryana contested a total of 90 Assembly seats on the 21st of October.
J.P. Nadda, the Working President of the BJP, union ministers and chief ministers of the BJP ruled states attended the oath taking ceremony.
