In Telangana, where Coronavirus has killed 18 people and infected 644 people, 20 of them are kids suffering from the pandemic illness.
The infection has infected kids from 23 day old to 12 year old in the State. The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Government organised a special kids isolation ward in the State run Gandhi Hospital.
Recently, considering the increasing cases of the Novel Coronavirus, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, designated Gandhi Hospital as the treatment centre of the COVID-19 illness.
Majority of kids were infected with the virus by their parents and are under supervision of trained doctors at the Gandhi Hospital.
Meanwhile, the State Government urged parents to be careful and provide nutritious food to the kids and senior citizens as they have low immune systems and could catch viruses easily.
The cure of the Coronavirus is the immunity system of your body to fight the virus and isolation for a specific period ( in this case 14 days.) However, isolation and immunity is not a proven cure.
Scientists and medical experts are trying to make a vaccine or antidote to fight the Novel Coronavirus.
