In Andhra Pradesh’s Visakhapatnam city, 70 students of Kasturba Gandhi School, fell ill.
According to sources, on the night of the 22nd of November, students consumed hostel mess food and reported to be sick. The students started feeling uneasy and vomited. They were rushed to hospital and were given treatment. The doctors at the hospital said, the students are stable now and they are conducting tests to find the reason behind their sudden sickness.
However, it is suspected to be the case of food poisoning, leading to illness of students. The District Educational Officer, L. Chandrakala, is inspecting the matter and would update after doctor’s confirmation.
