Tadepalli: Bhuvaneshwari, wife of Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu, highlighted the contributions of the Akshayapatra Foundation as a leading non-profit organization during her visit to its centralized kitchen in Atmakuru, Guntur district, on Friday.

As part of her visit, Bhuvaneshwari inaugurated a newly installed rice cleaning machine at the facility. Speaking on the occasion, she praised the foundation’s efforts in feeding 30,000 children daily through the Dokka Seethamma Mid-Day Meal Scheme, a government-run initiative.

She emphasized that the introduction of the rice cleaning machine will further enhance food quality, ensuring nutritious meals for schoolchildren. The initiative reflects the government’s commitment to improving the welfare of students and promoting better educational outcomes through healthy diets.

The event was attended by MLC Panchumurthy Anuradha, Mangalagiri Akshayapatra President Vamsidharadasa, and other officials who lauded the foundation’s efforts in eradicating hunger and supporting underprivileged children.
