Thousands of police job aspirants in Andhra Pradesh can now look forward to a major recruitment drive, with 2,050 posts announced by the AP Police Recruitment Board.
The notification covers 438 Sub-Inspector (SI) posts across different departments. This includes 253 Civil SIs, 116 Armed Reserve (AR) SIs, 9 SPF posts, 50 Communication posts and 10 PTO posts.
Another 1,612 vacancies are available in constable and specialised categories. These include 542 Civil, 285 AR, 158 Fire, 150 Male Jail Warders and 21 Female Jail Warders. The recruitment also includes 200 Communication, 15 Mechanic, 198 Driver and 43 Scientific Assistant posts.
The vacancies offer opportunities in regular policing as well as specialised services. Civil and AR personnel are involved in police duties, while Fire and Jail Warder posts are linked to fire services and prison security. The remaining technical posts support communication, vehicles, mechanical work and scientific services.
