In Andhra Prades’s Kakinada region, a major accident was reported, killing four people and leaving nine severely injured.
On the 16th of November, Wednesday, a Tata Magic vehicle collided with a parked lorry at Mallepalli in Gandepalli Mandal, at 3:00 A.M. Thirteen people were travelling in the Tata Magic vehicle and were travelling to Visakhapatnam from Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh. All thirteen were artists, to perform at the Anakapalli Perantamma Matla Gudi festival in Visakhapatnam. They were on their way to the festival venue when the incident occurred, leaving 4 of the artists dead and 9 others injured. The identities of the deceased and injured are yet to be known.
The details of the accidents were confirmed by the police, who rushed to the spot after locals informed them. The Police shifted the victims to the state run Rajahmundry Government Hospital for treatment. As of now, two people of the nine injured are said to be in critical health condition, whereas seven others received minor injuries.
Furthermore, the police registered a case and launched an investigation.
