The Andhra Pradesh Assembly Speaker Tammineni Sitaram suspended 15 more Telugu Desam Party (TDP) members from the ongoing Assembly session.
On the 20th of September, Tuesday, during the session, which entered the fourth consecutive, witnessed hue and cry from the TDP members. The opposition surrounded the speaker’s podium and displayed placards saying “Sankshobam lo Sankshemam” (welfare in crisis.)
Notably, the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs) protested in the Legislative Assembly, saying that question hour was not conducted according to order. They protested at the Speaker podium and demanded that the question hour be conducted smoothly in the House.
The TDP MLAs accused the ruling Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government of trying to bulldoze important issues and questions in the session.
After the repeated chaos conducted by the TDP MLAs to obstruct the proceedings of the Assembly session, the Speaker Mr. Tammineni Sitaram took a strict decision and suspended the TDP MLAs.
Moreover, the Andhra Pradesh Assembly session is set to conclude on the 22nd of September.
