Mr. Veerabrahman, the Junior Executive Officer (JEO) of the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD,) inaugurated the Srivani Darshan tickets counter in Tirupati.

Mr. Veerabrahman launched the counter, in operation immediately for Srivari Ticket Darshan for devotees, from the 1st of December, Thursday.

After inaugurating the Srivani ticket counter for darshan at Madhavam rest house in Tirupati, the TTD JEO issued the first Srivani ticket at Tirupati to N. Lakshmi Harish and G. Roop Sindhu, a couple from Guntur.

According to sources, the shifting of counters from Tirumala to Tirupati is the TTD’s larger efforts to ease congestion more so for accommodation in Tirumala.

The decision to inaugurate a Srivari Darshan Ticket counter at the TTD  was taken by the Temple Trust Board after it noticed the hardships of devotees to get Srivari offline tickets at Tirupati.

Furthermore, addressing the media, the JEO of TTD Mr. Veerabraham said the new system would be helpful to devotees as they could stay at Madhavam which is close to the bus station and railway station and leave for Tirumala, especially coming for early morning darshan.
