On the 9th of June, the Andhra Pradesh Health department reported 215 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus, taking the total to 5,029 cases of COVID-19.
On the other hand, sixteen people have recovered and discharged by which the total number recoveries stands at 2,775 and 77 deaths with two deaths one each in Krishna and Kurnool districts. The active cases in the state stood at 2,177.
As per the media health bulletin released by the state government, a massive number of 15,085 samples were tested in the last twenty-four hours.
On the other hand, migrant returnees cases have increased to 907 with 553 actives cases and 36 discharges today while the cumulative cases from foreign returnees stand at 132 with 114 active cases. The government has stopped the district-wise COVID-19 data from last month however, the state has surpassed 4 lakh numbers in conducting the tests to the people in the state, which is the first state to do so in the country.
