Andhra Pradesh Reports 10,766 Cases of Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

Andhra Pradesh is reporting a massive increase in the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases.

In August, the single day spike reached a minimum of 10,000 per day cases.   The State is on the edge to complete 1 lakh cases soon.

A few coastal areas like Kakinada and Rajamundhry of East Godavari district in Andhra Pradesh, became urban centres for the spread of the deadly virus.

On the 4th of September Andhra Pradesh reported 10,766 cases of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 in the past 24 hours.

The Novel Coronavirus in Andhra Pradesh is increasing massively with a minimum 10,000 plus cases. 

According to the Health Department of Andhra Pradesh, in the last 24 hours, samples were tested for COVID-19 infection.

In the past 24 hours, 3041 people have been discharged with perfect health and 56 have died from the virus. 

State Health department confirmed a total of 4,76,506 cases of the Novel Coronavirus.  Of the total  1,02,065 are active cases,  3,70,163 ,are recovered/discharged cases and 1,041 are deceased cases.

In addition, the mortality rate of COVID-19 in Andhra Pradesh is 1.08% , the average growth rate of the infection is now 11.32 % from the previous 9 %. The recovery rate now is reduced to 48.08 % from the previous 48.79%.

Till the 27th of July, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 16,43,319 tests for the Novel Coronavirus.

The total population of the State as per 2019 data is 5,22,21,000.
