On the 18th of June, the Andhra Pradesh Health Department, confirmed 299 new cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
According to the released data of the COVID-19 cases in India, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 5,854 positive cases of the Novel Coronavirus.
While positive cases stand at 5,854 number of active cases in the State reached a total of 2,779 and recovered/discharged cases reached to 2,983 cases till the 18th of June.
According to the Nodal Officer concerned to COVID-19 situation in the State, said, the medical department conducted a total of 13,923 sample tests in the past 24 hours. Till the 18th of June, Andhra Pradesh conducted a total of 6,12,397 tests for the Coronavirus infection.
The death cases due to the Novel Coronavirus reached a total of 92 in Andhra Pradesh.
According to the state media bulletin, in the past 24 hours, as many as 77 people were discharged.
The Andhra Pradesh Government is taking all the precautionary measures and conducting rapid tests to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.
