Andhra Pradesh reported 3,224 new Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19 cases.
This is the first time in the past few days, the State reported less than 4,000 cases and started to decline.
On the 12th of October, the Andhra Pradesh Health Department released a media bulletin, informing about the daily cases and updates of the infection.
According to the bulletin, of the total cases, highest were reported in East Godavari (547,) West Godavari (489,) Guntur (379,) and Chittoor (293.)
In addition, the State conducted as many as 61,112 tests for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19, taking the total tests to 66,30,728.
With these updates, Andhra Pradesh has 7,58,951 positive cases, of which 43,983 active cases, 7,08,712 are recovered/discharged cases and 6,256 deceased cases.
With this, the State has a recovery rate of more than 85%.
