V. Vijayasai Reddy, the Member of Parliament (MP) of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) is the new Parliamentary Chief of the Party in Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

On the 5th of June, Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh and the leader of the YSRCP, appointed Vijayasai as the leader of the MPs of the Party.

Y. S. Jagan Mohan Reddy wrote a letter to the Lok Sabha Speaker and announced Vijayasai as the Parliamentary Party Chief.

The YSRCP won a total of 22 Lok Sabha seats in the Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha elections, held on the 11th of April.

The YSRCP defeated the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and formed the Government of Andhra Pradesh (AP.)

The YSRCP appointed P.V. Midhun Reddy as the Party leader and M. Bharat Ram as the Chief Whip of the YSRCP.
