Nara Lokesh, the Information Technology (IT) Minister of Andhra Pradesh, on the 28th of March, addressed the students of a college in Visakhapatnam, Andhra Pradesh.

During his interaction with the students, Lokesh highlighted the activities of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) for the development of the State. He said, after N. Chandrababu Naidu, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, came to power, approximately 3 lakh jobs increased.

The State grew in terms of technology, education, economy and progressed in many other sectors as well.

Speaking to the students, Lokesh said, “The TDP is a university for training youth. I am a sub-junior here, and there is no ragging in our university.”

Lokesh, during his visit, tried to connect to the students and answered their questions.

Some students gave their opinion regarding the infrastructure and construction of the stadiums and plants in Andhra Pradesh, whereas some of them spoke about their issues.

Welcoming all the new ideas and suggestions, Mr. Lokesh said, the TDP has come a long way in the last five years, in terms of development. He further added, the TDP will contribute more to the State if it forms the government in Andhra Pradesh again.

Lokesh emphasised on the necessity of change in educational institutions’ curriculum. He said, students should be given proper training and experience.

Nara Lokesh is the candidate nominated to contest the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections from the Managalagiri Assembly constituency.

Andhra Pradesh will contest for a total of 175 seats in the upcoming Assembly elections, scheduled on the 11th of April 2019.

The major parties contesting the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections are the TDP, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
