The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) is facing rifts in deciding who will become the Cabinet Ministers if the Party wins the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections.
The Party members, who are confident about winning the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, are discussing ministerial posts in the Cabinet, ahead of the elections.
The speculations about the ongoing discussions regarding the posts in the Cabinet came after Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the YSRCP, confirmed Balineni Srinivasa Reddy’s post.
On the 3rd of April, during a public rally in Ongole, Jagan Mohan Reddy urged the voters to vote for Balineni Srinivasa Reddy and promised, his name will be in the list of Cabinet Ministers.
Balineni Srinivasa Reddy is a Member of Parliament (MP) candidate representing the YSRCP from the Ongole constituency in the AP Lok Sabha elections.
Apart from the YSRCP, the TDP is also confident about its second term as the ruling Government in Andhra Pradesh. The TDP is also said to be a strong Party and a tough competitor against the Opposition Parties in the elections fray.
The major parties contesting the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections are the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Party. The State will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively.
The results of the AP Assembly and Lok Sabha elections, scheduled on the 11th of April, will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
