Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) addressed several public rallies in Andhra Pradesh, ahead of the Assembly elections in the State.

On the 4th of April, Mr. Reddy, along with the YSRCP leaders, addressed huge gatherings in three different constituencies.

The constituencies covered were Nellore, Anantapur and Kurnool. Mr. Reddy started his campaign after taking a day long break on the 3rd of April.

Mr. Reddy started his campaign at 9:30 A.M., and addressed a public rally in Nellore. Later, around 11:30 A.M., he reached Nandyal in Kurnool and addressed another rally.

The day’s schedule ended with two public rallies in Anantapur’s Kalyandurg and Hindupur areas at 1:30 P.M., and 3:30 P.M., respectively.

During the campaigns, Jagan Mohan Reddy addressed several rallies and appealed to the voters to vote for the YSRCP and give him a chance to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is also the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)

The TDP is one of the strong competitors against the YSRCP in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the State.

Apart from the YSRCP, the other two parties, the TDP and the JanaSena Party, also recently started campaigning in Andhra Pradesh.

All the parties are conducting several roadshows, public rallies and party meetings to gain the attention of the voters.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting in Andhra Pradesh are the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Party.
The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
