Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the President of the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP,) addressed several public rallies in Andhra Pradesh, ahead of the elections in Andhra Pradesh.

On the 28th of March, Mr. Reddy, along with the Party leaders, addressed huge gatherings in four different constituencies in Andhra Pradesh. The constituencies were Palakollu and Chintalapudi in West Godavari district, Vinukonda in Guntur district and Nandigama in Krishna district.

During the campaigns, Jagan Mohan Reddy appealed to the voters to vote for the YSRCP and give him a chance to become the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The current Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh is N. Chandrababu Naidu, who is also the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP.)

The TDP is one of the strong competitors of the YSRCP in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections in the State.

Apart from the YSRCP, the other two parties, the TDP and the JanaSena Party, also recently started campaigning in Andhra Pradesh.

All the parties are conducting several road shows, public rallies and party meetings to gain the attention of the voters.

Andhra Pradesh will contest a total of 175 seats and 25 seats in the upcoming Assembly and Lok Sabha elections respectively. The Andhra Pradesh Lok Sabha and Assembly elections are scheduled on the 11th of April.

The major parties contesting in Andhra Pradesh are the YSRCP, the TDP and the JanaSena Party.

The results of the Andhra Pradesh Assembly and Lok Sabha elections will be announced on the 23rd of May 2019.
