On the 28th of October, Thursday, the Andhra Pradesh Government conducted a Cabinet meeting. Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) chaired the meeting to discuss crucial issues in the State.

The meeting was attended by the YSRCP ministers, senior leaders and the officials of State Government departments.

After the Cabinet meeting was concluded, Mr. Perni Nani, a YSRCP Minister addressed the media and briefed about the major highlights of the meeting.

Highlights of today’s Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Cabinet meeting:

The Andhra Pradesh Cabinet approved the Cinematography Law Amendment Ordinance to enable ticket sales online.

The Cabinet discussed the amendment of the law on the issue of lease of lands and shops in the Endowments Department.

The YSRCP Government approved the establishment of a Vigilance and Security Wing in the Revenue Department.

Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy approved the implementation of the ‘Amma Vodi’ scheme in the coming financial year 2022.

The YSRCP Cabinet approved the 75 % mandatory attendance for students to claim the Amma Vodi scheme. The CM also directed the concerned authorities to publicise the new ruke widely amongst the beneficiaries.

The Andhra Pradesh CM also approved the allotment of 130 acres to Adani Enterprises in Visakhapatnam and 15 acres to Sharda Peetham.

Cabinet approved the Detailed Project Reports (DPRs) of 5 fishing harbors, including Prakasam District Vadarevu for development.

The Cabinet also approved the Assembly’s decision to send the Backward Class (BC) census to the Center in the wake of the forthcoming census.

With the aforementioned discussions and crucial decisions, the YSRCP Government also decided to conduct an Assembly meeting on the 15th and the 16th of November.

The two days Andhra Pradesh Assembly session would be held to discuss the ongoing Wuhan virus situation and other important decisions taken by the YSRCP Government today.
