Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (AP,) on the 6th of December, abruptly ended his Delhi tour.
Mr. Reddy left for Delhi on the evening of the 5th of December for a scheduled meeting with Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India.
The meeting was organised to discuss the various issues in Andhra Pradesh and to seek solutions for the same. However, Jagan Mohan Reddy had to end his trip and come back after receiving information about Dampetla Narayana’s death. Narayana worked closely with Jagan Mohan Reddy as his assistant and served the Y.S. family for almost 36 years.
Narayana died due to a brain tumour at a hospital in Hyderabad, Telangana. Mr. Narayana’s mortal remains were brought to Diguvapalli in Mudigubba mandal of Anantapur district
Narayana died in the early hours of the 6th of December. The last rites of Narayana are scheduled to be held in his hometown.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to visit Diguvapalli and pay his final tribute to Narayana and meet Narayana’s family.
Jagan Mohan Reddy is scheduled to return to Tadepalli, Andhra Pradesh, on the evening of the 6th of December.
