AP CM’s Camp Office And Residence Declared Red Zone For Coronavirus?

On the 18th of April,  Tadepalli Chief Minister’s camp office area made headlines all over as a red zone for the spread of the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.

According to a few media reports, the residence of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) and the camp office has been announced as a red zone after the death of a woman.

The woman was a resident of Maruti Apartment near old toll gate in Tadepalli and died on the 18th of April.  Though she did not die due to the Coronavirus, she tested positive for the infection.

The death created panic amongst people in Tadepalli, especially amongst the government officials as the apartment was near the residence and camp office of A.P., CM Jagan Mohan Reddy.

The area and the buildings near Maruti Apartment have been sealed and thorough tests for COVID-19 are being conducted in the area.

The news of women’s demise came after a few cases of Coronavirus were reported from Dolas Nagar area of Tadepalli.

Meanwhile, on the 18th of April, Andhra Pradesh reported 31new cases taking the total tally to 603.  Out of 603, 546 are active cases, 42 recovered and 15 deaths were reported till date.
