Andhra Pradesh has reported 159 new cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) taking the total active cases to 2,138
On the 2nd of December, Thursday, the Telugu State reported 159 new cases, 1 death and 169 recoveries. The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Thursday evening.
According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting 29,263 sample tests for COVID-19. With this, the State conducted a total of 3,04,75,940 tests till date.
In addition, of the total 159 new cases, the highest were from Visakhapatnam (28,) followed by Chittoor (23,) West Godavari (21,) Nellore and Guntur 18 each. The lowest cases were reported from Kurnool (1,) YSR Kadapa (2) and Prakasam (2.)
Of the total 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, only 5 districts reported new cases in single digits, whereas 8 districts had new cases in double digits.

With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,73,252 positive cases, of which 20,56,670 are recovered cases, 2,1358 are active cases and 14,444 are deceased cases.
