Andhra Pradesh has reported 163 new cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) taking the total active cases to 1,821
On the 15th of December, Wednesday, the Telugu State reported 163 new cases, 3 deaths and 162 recoveries. The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Wednesday evening.
According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting 35,071 sample tests for COVID-19. With this, the State conducted a total of 3,08,62,705 tests till date.
In addition, of the total 163 new cases, the highest were from Chittoor (25,) East Godavari (25,) followed by West Godavari (20) Guntur (18) and Visakhapatnam (15.) The other districts which reported cases in double digits are: Vizianagaram and Srikakulam with 10 cases each.
The lowest cases were reported from Kurnool (3,) followed by Kadapa (4,) Prakasam, Anantapur and Krishna with 7 cases each.
With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,75,271 positive cases, of which 20,58,979 are recovered cases, 1,821 are active cases and 14,471 are deceased cases.
