Andhra Pradesh has reported 2,159 active cases of the Wuhan virus (COVID-19,) with 196 fresh cases.
On the 23rd of November, Tuesday, the Telugu State reported 196 new cases, 1 death and 242 recoveries. The cases were confirmed through a health bulletin released on Tuesday evening.
According to the media bulletin, the cases were confirmed after conducting 26,119 sample tests for the Wuhan virus. With this, the State conducted a total of 3,02,23,680 tests till date.
In addition, of the total 196 new cases, the highest were from Krishna with 34 cases and lowest from Anantapur and Kurnool with 3 and 4 cases, respectively. Of the total 13 districts of Andhra Pradesh, only 4 reported new cases in single digits, whereas 9 districts had new cases in double digits.
With this, Andhra Pradesh has 20,71,567 positive cases, of which 20,54,979 are recovered cases, 2,159 are active cases and 14,429 are deceased cases.
