The Andhra Pradesh Education Department, on the 3rd of March, announced new dates for the Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Intermediate examinations.

On Thursday, the Mr. Adimulapu Suresh has released the new schedule of AP Intermediate examinations.  The decision to postpone the A.P., intermediate examinations were taken in the view of the 2022 Joint Entrance Exams (JEE) mains.  The engineering entrance examination has been scheduled across India, from the 16th of April to the 21st of April.  Whereas, the A.P., intermediate exams were previously scheduled from the 9th of April to the 28th of April.

To avoid clash of schedules between the two examinations, the JEE mains and Intermediate exams (class 12th exams,) the new dates have been announced from the 22nd of April and would continue till the 12th of May.

Furthermore, the first year exams are scheduled as the 22nd, 25th, 27th, 29th of April, the 2nd,the 6th, 9th and the 11th of May.  The second year exams are on the 23rd, 26th, 28th, 30th of April, the 5th, 7th, 10th and the 12th of May.

On the other hand, the practical exams would be held from the 11th of March to the 31st of March, as per the previously announced schedule.

In addition, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government led Education Department would make all the necessary arrangements amid the Wuhan virus (COVID-19) pandemic.  Mr. Adimulapu Suresh said the tests would be conducted as per the Wuhan virus protocol. 

A total of 1,400 centers were set up for theory exams and 900 centers for the practical examinations, across Andhra Pradesh.  Over 5 lakh students are expected to appear for the 2021-2022 Intermediate examinations in Andhra Pradesh.
