Despite the outbreak of the Novel Coronavirus in the State, the Andhra Pradesh Government on the 17th of June, announced to increase the age limit of the recruitment in Health Department.

Y. S Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., said the State Government is planning to recruit the posts in the health sector.

As part of these appointments, the health secretary Jawahar Reddy issued a notice extending the age limit of general candidates from previous 34 years to 42 years.

The Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) Government announced 15 % weightage in the recruitment of civil and dental assistant surgeons to those who have completed 3 years of service in 104 vehicles and CM health centres.

The Government also decided to give grace marks to tribal area candidates with three marks per year, one mark for rural areas, and two marks for urban areas.

In the Government Orders (GO,) the State Government announced that five marks will be given as grace in the appointment of assistant professor to those who studied in the Central Institute of India.

A notification has been issued for the recruitment of 665 civil assistant posts in primary health centres under the Public Health Department. Applications for these posts will be received from the 19th of June to the 18th of June.
