On the 17th of June, K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, expressed condolences to the families of 12 persons of Khammam.
Twelve people from Khammam died in a tragic road accident near Jaggaiahpet in Krishna district, Andhra Pradesh.
Mr. Rao expressed grief over the incident and He extended condolences to the deceased families.
He also directed the authorities concerned to the matter to provide necessary assistance to the families of the deceased and the injured.
In a tragic incident, twelve persons including two children died and 14 were left injured.
The accident happened in Krishna district of Andhra Pradesh when 30 people were returning after darshan of Sri Laxminarasimha Swamy temple at Vedadri near Jaggaiahpet.
The tractor in which they were going in, hit by a lorry loaded with cement. The lorry driver allegedly was driving in a high speed.

Fourteen of the 30 were severely injured and people were shifted to a nearby hospital in Krishna district.
Three people are said to be in critical condition and the remaining 11 are in stable condition.
