AP Govt Forms Special Committee To Review COVID-19 Prevention

The Andhra Pradesh (A.P.,) Government, on the 28th of March, decided to conduct a specific review committee for the Novel Coronaviru or COVID-19 in the State.

The decision to form a dedicated committee was taken to control the spread of the Novel Coronavirus.  The committee comprising of Botcha Satyanarayana the Municipal Administration and Urban Development Minister of A.P., M. Sucharitha the Home Minister of A.P., Kurasala Kannababu the Minister of Agriculture and Buggana Rajendranath Reddy the Finance Minister of A.P., would closely review the precautionary measures taken .

Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., asked the newly formed committee to conduct a meeting with the medical departments and the concerned officials regarding the preventive measures.

The special committee, as per the directives of Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, met the concerned officials in Vijayawada on the 28th of March and discussed the prevention of the COVID-19.

Besides the committee members,  Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy the Advisor to the State Government, Neelam Sawhney the Chief Secretary of A.P., Gautam Sawang the Director General of Police (DGP) of A.P., P.V. Ramesh Dar the Additional Secretary of A.P., and other  Health Department officials participated in the meeting.

Till date, Andhra Pradesh has a total of 13 COVID-19 cases.
