Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Sunday revealed its candidates for six parliamentary seats in Andhra Pradesh as part of a seat-sharing agreement. Alongside these parliamentary nominations, the BJP also secured ten assembly seats.

The BJP’s selections for the parliamentary seats feature seasoned leaders in the political arena. Former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Kiran Kumar Reddy has been nominated to contest from Rajampet. Adding to the list of prominent contenders, D. Purandeswari, the BJP’s Andhra Pradesh unit president, will vie for the Rajahmundry parliamentary seat. Another notable figure, former Member of Parliament Kothapalli Geetha, has been named as the candidate for the Araku constituency.

In addition to these candidates, CM Ramesh is set to contest from Anakapalli, while Bupathiraju Srinivasa Varma will represent the BJP in Narasapuram. Varaprasad has been granted the opportunity to contest from Tirupati.

Speaking on the announcement, BJP leadership assured that the list of ten assembly seat candidates will be declared by Tuesday, further solidifying the party’s electoral strategy in Andhra Pradesh.
