Mr. Amit Shah, the Home Minister of India, is scheduled to visit Andhra Pradesh, on the 8th of January, Sunday.
Mr. Amit Shah, a national senior leader of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) would be visiting Kurnool and Prasanthi Nilayam in Andhra Pradesh. He would be addressing a mega public meeting in Kurnool and would later head to Prasanthi Nilayam for the darshan of Satya Saibaba at Maha Samadhi.
In regard to the visit of Mr. Amit Shah, Mr. Somu Veeraju, the BJP President of Andhra Pradesh, the BJP leaders and workers are making all the arrangements to make the public meeting a grand success. Notably, the BJP Public meeting has been organised despite a government ban on public meeting, roadshows and rallies in Andhra Pradesh.
Recently after the stampede incidents during the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) organised public meetings, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) banned public meetings. When asked about how the BJP would organise a grand meeting amid ban orders, Mr. C.M. Ramesh,a Rajya Sabha Member of the BJP said, “AP is already in a state of debt with no chance of any developmental activity but the YSRC government is trying to divert attention and suppress the opposition parties. The government cannot restrict the presence of people on the roads just because some accidents have occurred.”
It is to be noted, after forming government in states like Karnataka and Maharashtra recently, the BJP is making efforts to strengthen the party in the Telugu states, Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.
In Andhra Pradesh, the BJP is focusing on Rayalaseema Region, assuring the development of the region, if voted into power. During the upcoming public meeting of Mr. Amit Shah, the BJP unit in the Rayalaseema region is planning to highlight all the achievements of the BJP for the development of the region and its people.
The public meeting would be attended by all the BJP leaders of Andhra Pradesh, people of the Rayalaseema region, who are said to be in support of the BJP and other workers of the BJP.
