Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar, the President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) unit in Telangana, also denied the allegations of poaching the Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Members of the Legislative Assembly (MLAs.)

The statement of Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar came hours after Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, the Union Home Minister of Telangana State, made a statement and said, the TRS is fabricating the poaching story.  On the 27th of October, Mr. G. Kishan Reddy said, “TRS MLAs were lured by the BJP is ‘fabricated’ by the ruling TRS and should be seen as an attempt to divert people’s attention from the loss that the TRS is going to suffer in the upcoming Munugode bypoll.”

Supporting the statements of Mr. G. Kishan Reddy, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar said, “(The) TRS attempt was to stop the MLAs from leaving the party and to get political mileage ahead of the Munugodu by poll.”  He also challenged Mr. K. Chandrashekar Rao, the Chief Minister of Telangana, to release the CCTV footage of the Deccan Kitchen hotel in Film Nagar, where a few TRS leaders are residing as of now.  Moreover, Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar asked KCR to release the CCTV footage from the Chief Minister’s official residence at Pragati Bhavan.  

The BJP Telangana unit president also took a dig at the Telangana Police, calling them actors of the TRS Government, for conducting raids at at a farmhouse in Aziz Nagar on the city outskirts.  The police even detained three people, Mr. Ramachandra Bharati alias S. Satish Sharma from Delhi and Simhayajulu from Tirupati, both are said to be temple priests and Nanda Kumar, a businessman from Hyderabad, a close one to a union minister.  Mr. Stephen Ravindra, the Cyberabad Police Commissioner said the police arrested the three BJP linked people while offering money to TRS MLAs, close to the tune of Rs. 100 crores. 

Meanwhile, the TRS MLAs poaching row turned into chaos as many TRS activists and leaders gathered an staged a protest.  They even burnt an effigy of Mr. Bandi Sanjay Kumar and BJP party symbol.
