Chandrababu Naidu Asks AP Local Body Elections To Be Held Under Central Security

N. Chandrababu Naidu, the President of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP,) demanded the Andhra Pradesh (AP) local body elections be held under centre’s security.

Mr. Naidu demanded that the last process for local body elections be completely cancelled and fresh notification should be given again.

Chandrababu Naidu who conducted an online review with party chiefs demanded a Central Bureau Investigation (CBI) probe into past irregularities.

Mr. Naidu accused the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) of threatening and forcibly withdrawing candidates by making false allegations during the last local body elections. He said online nominations would be allowed and elections would be held under the supervision of the Central Security Forces.

Chandrababu Naidu recalled the majority of the parties had expressed the same views at a recent meeting of the SEC with various parties in the state. In this order, Chandrababu fired at CM Jagan on a serious level. Naidu said that the Jagan has betrayed people by stopping work in Amaravati and Polavaram project. Babu revealed that cheating in the belief that he would bring special status was the third betrayal committed by Jagan Mohan Reddy.

Chandrababu called on the leaders and activists to take the Tirupati parliamentary by-election seriously, which will be the place where the YSRCP’s downfall begins.
