
Amaravathi: Deputy Chief Minister and Minister of Panchayat Raj and Rural Development, Pawan Kalyan, expressed satisfaction over the transparent transfer process in the Panchayat Raj and Rural Development Department. During a review meeting at his camp office on Monday, Pawan Kalyan highlighted the significance of assigning officers to relevant posts within their parent departments, terming it a positive step in improving the transfer process.
The Deputy CM was briefed on key appointments, including the transfer of S. Khader Basha as CEO of Nellore District ZP. Khader Basha, who had served since 1999 without district-level posts, has now been appointed to this role after eight years in the vigilance department. Similarly, Krishna District DPO Dr. Vinathi Aruna was reassigned due to family concerns, as her child has autism and her father is battling cancer.
Pawan Kalyan emphasized the need for continuous review of the working style of the officers and directed them to focus on strengthening the Panchayat system and rural development. He reiterated that Rs. 4,500 crore has been allocated for rural employment schemes and urged officials to ensure efficient utilization of these funds.
