Kurnool: Tension prevailed at Eenadu office located at Kurnool city with sudden attack of YSRCP activists. A group of YSRCP supporters and followers of Panyam MLA Katasani Rambhupal Reddy allegedly staged a protest outside Eenadu office opposing the anti-government press coverage.
Activists all of a sudden tried to enter the premises and attack the staff and destroy the furniture. Police obstructed the activists.
Telugu Desam party chief N Chandrababu Naidu condemned the attack on media houses. “Media is one of the pillars of democracy. Attacks on the media should not be encouraged. YSRCP leaders recently attacked Andhra Jyothi paper photographer at Siddham meeting at Anantapur,” Naidu said.
Jana Sena president Pawan Kalyan condemned the attacks on Eenadu office. Pawan alleged that YSRCP is trying to frighten the media and opposition leaders who are exposing their failures.
AP Congress president Y S Sharmila also condemned the attack on Eenadu office. She demanded serious action against the offenders.
