Modi goes Scuba diving: offered prayers at Dwaraka

Ahmedabad: Prime Minister Narendra Modi did yet another adventure by offering special prayers to Lord Krishna under Arabian sea. Narendra Modi did scuba diving and offered prayers to ancient Dwaraka which is now submerged under the sea. 

Modi on Sunday reached Beet Dwaraka and did Scuba diving with the help of expert divers of the Indian Navy. He reached the surface of water and offered prayers to Lord Krishna. Modi offered peacock feathers to Lord Krishna and prayed for world peace.

Modi said that he was very happy and fortunate to see the city of Lord Sri Krishna. Modi said that his decades long dream was fulfilled with this adventure. Touching the sacred land with my bare hands gave a sacred feeling. Even Vedas spoke about Dwaraka and I’m happy today, Modi said. 

Later Modi inaugurated the Sudarsan Setu, the longest cable bridge in the country. The 2.32 km long bridge was constructed with an estimated cost of Rs. 979 crores.
