In Mumbai, two unidentified people allegedly raped a 19-year-old married woman at knifepoint, said police on the 12th of May.
The incident happened in the Dharavi region around 4:30 pm, on May 10, while she was sleeping at her house. In her FIR, the victim said, two people came to her house, assaulted her, and recorded the incident. While one of the accused threatened the woman with a knife, the other filmed a video of the incident on his cellphone.
The police registered a case under several sections of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and launched an investigation.
The two unidentified accused have been booked under sections 376, 376 (d), 425, 354, (A) 354 (B), 354 (D), 506 (2) of the Indian Penal Code (IPC) and sections 67, 67 (of the Information Technology Act.)
