The National Investigation Agency (NIA) ruled out any conspiracy involved in the attack on Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh.

The statement came after a probe in the ongoing Kodi Kathi Case, in which Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy was attacked with a knife.  The incident occurred at the Visakhapatnam Airport in 2018, and is under investigation.  The NIA took the matter and launched a probe and arrested the accused Srinivasa Rao.  Initially, a restaurant owner Harshavardhan was also named in the matter.  However, the NIA officials revealed that Harshavardhan had no involvement in the incident, and the accused Srinivasa Rao acted alone on personal grounds.  The NIA also cleared that there is no conspiracy by the opposition Telugu Desam Party (TDP) into the Kodi Kathi attack case.

With all the arguments and evidence, the NIA requested the Vijayawada Court to dismiss the petition filed by Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy into the attack.

However,  the lawyers for CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy has requested time for further arguments.

After hearing arguments of lawyers, representing the NIA and AP CM Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the court adjourned the matter to next hearing, on the 17th of April.
