Pawan Kalyan, the President of the JanaSena Party, donated an amount of Rs. 1 crore to the Kendriya Sainik Board in Delhi.
Mr. Kalyan, on the 7th of December, took to his Twitter handle and shared the news. Mr. Kalyan said, “I am donating Rs1 crore to the ‘Kendriya Sainik board’ for the welfare our soldiers’ families. I will personally handover the DD to the concerned authorities in Delhi. My heartfelt gratitude to ‘PM Modiji’ for reminding our responsibility towards our Nation#ArmedForcesFlagDay.”
Pawan Kalyan is expected to visit Delhi and personally hand over the demand draft to the military authorities.
The Central Government set up the Kendriya Sainik Board in 1919. It is a welfare organisation for the welfare of the families of the military personnel slain during service.
Mr. Kalyan expressed happiness while donating the money for the welfare of Indian soldiers’ families.
