Vijayawada: Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan on Saturday met Telugu Desam president N Chandrababu Naidu and discussed seat sharing and finalization of candidates. The meeting held at Naidu’s residence at Undavalli lasted for around 4 hours in which both the leaders discussed key issues.
Both Janasena and Telugu Desam intensified their attack on YSRCP. Around 20 key leaders from YSRCP joined the Telugu Desam and Jana Sena alliance in the last ten days. While YSRCP released three lists of constituency in charge, the Janasena-TDP alliance still focused on finalizing the candidates.
Naidu and Pawan held talks over the seat sharing and came to an understanding. Sources close to Pawan Kalyan stated that the meeting was fruitful and Janasena was happy with the seats allocated for them in alliance.
Alliance partners also discussed the action plan for finalizing the candidates and came to an understanding to release the combined list. TDP general Secretary Nara Lokesh, Janasena PAC chairman Nadendla Manohar were present in the meeting.
