RRR Wins Best International Film Award At Hollywood Critic Association Awards In LA

In another victory, the S.S. Rajamouli directed RRR film won the Best International film award at the Hollywood Critic Association Awards, in Los Angeles.

With the series of awards by Hollywood associations and international criticis, Indian movie RRR and its director Mr. S.S. Rajamouli is ruling the Hollywood award season. After the LA Critics Award and other international awards, on the 25th of February, the Indian period film added another feather in the hat with ‘Best International’ Film Award.

The film won Best International Film along with 3 big awards, including Best Action Film, Best Stunts, and Best Original Song for the Oscar-nominated Naatu Naatu.

On the official Twitter handle of the film RRR, the makers shared a picture of SS Rajamouli, Ram Charan, MM Keeravani along with the film’s team, accompanied with hearts on fire emojis and the hashtags #RRRMovie and #HCAFilmAwards.

Furthermore, Mr. S.S. Rajamouli accepted the award and said “Aaah! The best International film…Again to all my fellow filmmakers in India, it is for all of us to believe we can truly make International films! Thank you HCA for that…it means a lot.  Thank you very much…a lot.  Jai Hind.”

After the announcement, Twitter users, Indian Cinema celebrities, filmmakers and Bollywood celebrities started pouring congratulatory wishes for the RRR team, and its victory.

Released in March 2022, the film starring Tollywood superstars Ram Charan and Jr. NTR is also nominated for Oscars 2023, for ‘Best Original Song’ nomination.  With this, India is having high hopes for the film to win an Oscar for India.

The Oscar 2023 is scheduled to be held on the 12th of March.
