Kadapa: In a major political development AP Congress president YS Sharmila and former minister YS Vivekananda Reddy’s daughter Sunitha met on Monday. Sources said that both the leaders had decided to travel together to defeat CM YS Jagan and YS Avinash Reddy at Kadapa.
Sharmila along with Sunitha Reddy paid homage to former CM late Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy on Monday. Sharmila and Sunith held talks for almost two hours. People close to Congress said that YS Jagan is likely to contest from Pulivendula assembly and Avinash Reddy will contest from Kadapa. Sharmila wants to place opponents from own family to defeat these leaders.
Sharmila enquired about the legal battle of Sunitha Reddy seeking justice in her father Viveka’s murder case. Meeting of Sharmila and Sunitha Reddy created a flutter across the state. Sharmila assured that Congress will support Sunitha Reddy and assured moral and personal support.
