Mr. Varla Ramaiah, a senior leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) protested against the Yuvajana Sramika Ruthy Congress Party (YSRCP.)

The protest was against the recent Nara Chandrababu Naidu-YSRCP issue during the Andhra Pradesh Assembly session. The TDP leader lashed out at the YSRCP leaders over derogatory remarks against Mr. Chandrababu Naidu, the National President of the TDP, involving his wife Ms. Nara Bhuvaneswari.

Agitating against the same, Mr. Varla Ramaiah asked Mr. Y.S. Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Chief Minister of A.P., and other YSRCP leaders, to extend an apology to Ms. Nara Bhuvaneswari. In regard to this, Mr. Varla Ramaiah and his wife staged a 12 hour protest On the 25th of November, in Vijayawada.

Mr. Varla Ramaiah addressed the media and also criticised Jr. NTR, a TDP leader of not responding properly to the Assembly incident. He claimed that, Jr. NTR failed as a nephew to react to the incident and is ignoring the insult against Ms. Nara Bhuvaneswari. He questioned whether Jr NTR is ignoring moral values for the sake of movies and said, this is what the entire State thinks, that he failed to respond to the incident.

On the 19th of November, Friday, during the ongoing Assembly session, the Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress Party (YSRCP) leaders made remarks against Ms. Bhuvaneshwari, the wife of Mr. Nara Chandrababu Naidu. The statements, which were said to be a direct attack on the opposition, TDP, left Mr. Chandrababu Naidu in tears. He said, in his 38 years of political career, he never felt this kind of humiliation and maligning of his family. He expressed the same and weeped during the press meet, held on the evening of the 19th of November, after the Assembly session.
