Mr. Atchannaidu,the former minister of Andhra Pradesh and a leader of the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) tested positive for the Novel Coronavirus or COVID-19.
According to sources, Mr. Atchannaidu, the Member of the Legislative Assembly (MLA) of Kinjarapu was tested for the infection on the 12th of August.
Mr. Atchannaidu is in judicial remand in the ESI scam. He is being treated at the local Ramesh Hospital in Guntur district.
The doctors of the hospital wrote to the Andhra Pradesh High Court and informed about the health and COVID-19 situation of the TDP MLA.

Mr. Atchannaidu is alleged of an ESI scam that happened in the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) rule in between 2014-2018.
Hearing the health and COVID-19 positive report of Atchannaidu, his followers and family members are concerned.
Mr. Atchannaidu is in Ramesh Hospital of Guntur and is undergoing treatment for the Novel Coronavirus.
